We seem to be lurching from one crisis to another. In the past couple of years, we've experienced a global pandemic, dramatic changes to how we conduct our daily lives, the heartache of staying away from loved ones, political turmoil and now the worst cost of living crisis in a generation. The impact of inflation is sparing no one.

For many, this is a time of unprecedented struggle and upheaval and just like the coronavirus pandemic, those on the lowest incomes are faring the worst. There seems to be no respite.
