Slough to make £200m capitalisation request

Slough Council is to ask the Government for a further capitalisation direction worth as much as £200m.

Slough Council is to ask the Government for a further capitalisation direction worth as much as £200m.

Section 151 officer Steven Mair, who was appointed in May, said the council faced a deficit of £174m but that figure was expected to rise further as his team got to grips with the authority's finances.
