Social care assessments will not be 'scary'

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has told councils ‘we aren’t as scary as people thought we were’ as it begins local authority inspections.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has told councils ‘we aren't as scary as people thought we were' as it begins local authority inspections.

Five volunteer pilot areas are to be selected next week, with assessments to be carried out before September, followed by the first tranche of 20 full assessments.
