'Surprise' at lack of CQC inspection pilot volunteers

An ex-president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) has expressed ‘surprise’ at the lack of volunteers to pilot Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections.

An ex-president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) has expressed ‘surprise' at the lack of volunteers to pilot Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections.

The watchdog was due last month to select five volunteer councils to pilot local authority assessments.
