The Prime Minister has hinted she intends to strengthen the hand of councils in planning appeals.

Prime Minister Liz Truss has hinted she intends to strengthen the hand of councils in planning appeals.

Responding to a question from Tory MP Peter Bottomley about protection for ‘green lungs,' Ms Truss suggested local authorities' priorities could be given more consideration by the Planning Inspectorate.
