Councils ‘finally have clarity’ on next year’s public health grant but warned it will be ‘insufficient’ to meet demand.

Councils ‘finally have clarity' on next year's public health grant but warned it will be ‘insufficient' to meet demand.

The Government announced ringfenced public health allocations totalling £3.5bn for 2023-24 just two weeks before the new financial year begins - an increase of £110m on this year's grant.
