Councils ‘finally have clarity' on next year's public health grant but warned it will be ‘insufficient' to meet demand.

The Government announced ringfenced public health allocations totalling £3.5bn for 2023-24 just two weeks before the new financial year begins - an increase of £110m on this year's grant.
