Blurring the lines: How districts can help reduce DTOCs

Delayed transfer of care is perhaps not a subject you might expect to see in a district column, but as many of us across the public sector try to move our services to truly being delivered around people and place, increasingly some more traditional models of who does what are being blurred.

Focusing on the outcome and efficient delivery is leading us to try new things and when things we try show positive results we must get better at sharing the good practice.
