Stepping up to the housebuilding challenge

Mixed-use property is one of many approaches in Homes England’s housing arsenal. Its value in unlocking new homes and driving wider urban regeneration makes it an issue that should not be overlooked, writes Gareth Blacker

The nation continues to face a shortage of the right homes in the right places. The Government is taking action to address this and aims to increase delivery to an average of 300,000 homes a year by the mid-2020s to deal with an escalating crisis.
