Change will force interims out

As the managing director of Penna’s recruitment business, you will not be surprised to find that I am concerned by the Government’s latest anticipated measure to limit contractors (interims) to working just one month before they are automatically transferred to the client’s payroll.

But my concern is not the potential loss of profit from placing interims – the industry will adapt to creating new ways of charging for its great work in finding talent – but by the potential withdrawal of talent that the sector will experience if this happens.
