EXCLUSIVE: Fresh deadline for overlapping LEPs

Minister Jake Berry has laid down a fresh deadline for local enterprise partnerships (LEP) to remove overlapping boundaries in a desperate attempt to break the deadlock.

Mr Berry is understood to have told the chairs of nine LEPs across four areas that are still resisting the Government drive to redraw the map to submit jointly-agreed resolutions by the end of this month ahead of meetings in May.
