Local government employers will consult on trade unions’ 10% pay claim throughout this month.
The sector’s three largest trade unions – Unison, Unite and the GMB – submitted their 2024-25 pay claim for England, Wales and Northern Ireland last week, claiming staff have had 25% wiped from the value of real-terms pay since 2010.
