Homes England strikes multi-million pound deal with Japanese housebuilder

Japan’s biggest housebuilder has moved into the UK market after striking a multi-million pound deal with Homes England and regeneration firm Urban Splash.

Sekisui House, which specialises in modular housebuilding techniques, will invest £22m of new equity in Urban Splash’s House development business while an additional £30m of equity and debt funding will come from the Government’s Home Building Fund.
