Piali Das Gupta says the sector needs Government clarity on policies concerning the impact of Brexit on local government
In the weeks after the results of the EU referendum were announced in June 2016, councils across the country started to try to analyse the potential implications for their local areas. In the city I worked in, the council convened an advisory group made up of representatives of the private sector, higher education, the voluntary sector, faith groups, the police and others.
