More councils eye combined authorities

Councils in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire have added their names to a growing list of those looking at creating combined authorities.

Derbyshire is understood to be at the most advanced stage with a consultation expected to be launched next month, before an official approach is made to the Department of Communities and Local Government in October.
