Pincher defends planning reforms

The Government’s revised proposals for planning reforms will seek to make the system more accessible, transparent and predictable, housing minister Christopher Pincher told peers today.

Giving evidence to the House of Lords’ Built Environment Committee’s inquiry into housing demand, the minister said the reforms could also reverse the increasingly adversarial nature of the system.
