Preston enters lockdown

Restrictions have been imposed on Preston following a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the city.

Preston City Council had hoped to avoid the lockdown imposed in neighbouring areas in recent weeks, but has now been officially designated an ‘area of intervention’ by the Government following a spike in cases.
