Some Brum grants don’t follow rules

Grants made by Birmingham City Council from a £300m fund allocated to the region’s local enterprise partnership have not duly complied with procedures, according to an audit report.

The Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) has been allocated £378.8m from the Government’s local growth fund, for the period 2015 to 2021.
