The PUSH for more successful economies

Councils are grappling with the challenge of building, or re-building successful economies.

The American academic and cities guru, Richard Florida, reminds us that modern economies are driven by human capital: our ability to attract the creative individuals who will grow the businesses of tomorrow. And, Mr Florida goes on to say, those people are mobile. They will gravitate to places which offer a good quality of life and where they can meet like-minded individuals.
