I had to blink a few times when I read that some council is running its bin lorries on waste cooking oil.
I checked the date and it wasn’t 1 April, but after a pandemic and Mad Vlad anything is now possible, even a bin truck rumbling past the front door smelling like a fish and chip shop.
But if bin lorries can run on cooking fat then why not the rest of the garbage?
