Auditor raises reserves concerns at Redcar & Cleveland

A council has been warned it faces running out of reserves within two years.

Mazars provided a qualified value for money conclusion in its audit of Redcar & Cleveland BC, warning the council was 'in danger of exhausting its revenue reserves’ by 2020/21 without making savings and curbing spending.
