Becky Shaw: Women mustn't hold back from going for senior roles

Women must stop shrinking away from applying for jobs that do not precisely match their experience if they want to move up the career ladder, the chief executive of East Sussex CC has said.

Becky Shaw, who joined the council in the top role in 2010, was speaking at the NLGN think-tank’s inaugural International Women’s Day event yesterday.
