Care funding to remedy NHS ills

The Government’s promised extra £8bn investment in the NHS could go to waste unless action is taken to reduce funding pressures on care services. So my hope is that the Spending Review provides funding parity between health and care services.

Strong, effective and well-funded care services would help ease the current pressure on the NHS, helping people to recover from treatment quicker or keeping them out of hospital altogether.
