Collaboration can equal growth

With another Autumn Statement fast approaching, recent headlines show the national deficit in the first half of the year stretched to £58bn, up about 10% on the same period a year earlier.

Against this backdrop, it looks increasingly unlikely that the chancellor George Osborne will reach his target of a 10% reduction in the deficit for the full year.

At the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) we are looking at key sectors for investment. One of these is infrastructure, including housing. It is clear that the UK badly needs investment here.
