Council opts to carry on outsourcing

Northampton BC looks set to continue contracting out its waste and recycling service, after ruling out bringing it back in-house.

The council’s cabinet met yesterday (16 November) to discuss beginning the procurement process for a new deal when its current arrangement with Enterprise Managed Services, which is part of the Amey Group, comes to an end in June 2018.
