EXCLUSIVE: Violence could delay EU poll

Polling at the EU elections may be suspended if rioting or open violence breaks out today, returning officers have been told.

The guidance has been issued amid escalating community cohesion concerns triggered after the UK moved into full-scale planning for the elections.
