Lawyers brought in over Towns Fund row

Lawyers have been summoned to break a deadlock between civil servants and MPs over a key document relating to the Towns Fund.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has been at loggerheads with the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) after it demanded to see a full accounting officer assessment of the Towns Fund.
