Oxford-Cambridge Arc makes top role redundant

Uncertainty over the Government’s commitment to the Oxford-Cambridge Arc has forced the  group leading the vision to make the top job redundant.

Councils in the area covering the ceremonial county areas of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire confirmed the post of executive director for the leadership group has been ‘made redundant as a result of uncertainties in Government funding and the role needing to be a different one in the future’.
