Readers of The MJ might think only science fiction characters such as Doctor Who can breach the space-time continuum. To them may now be added the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).
The recent consultation on the revised national Air Quality Strategy stated: ‘This consultation runs for two weeks. It opens on 11 April 2023 and closes on 21 April 2023.’ The consultation ran for a total of 11 days, if both the opening and closing days are included, of which only nine were working days. That is not ‘two weeks’.
