Tens of thousands more adults seeking care, think-tank finds

Rising disability among working-age adults and a growth in the number of over-65s is increasing pressure on care services in England, a think-tank has found.

Analysis published today by The King’s Fund showed the proportion of adults seeking council support has risen by 4% – more than 23,000 people – since 2015/16.
