The UK’s decision to leave the EU has swept away many standard assumptions about the national economy and its future – with major implications for UK cities.

For a start, amidst the post-referendum uncertainty, businesses may pause significant additional investment and recruitment or might even decide to go for a safer bet outside the UK. Funding for infrastructure may also be put on hold while negotiations are under way.
