'Lax' supermarkets told to do more to keep shoppers safe

Supermarkets have become ‘lax’ and are not doing enough to keep shoppers safe, a council leader has warned.

Leader of Solihull MBC, Cllr Ian Courts, and six other West Midlands council leaders urged supermarkets and all businesses that remain open during the latest national lockdown to ‘step-up’ their COVID-19 safety measures to help combat the rising surge of infections.
