Addressing the Good Governance Institute’s monthly webinar was Patricia Hewitt. One year on from the publication of the Hewitt review, the author and former health secretary provided an update on progress into the oversight, governance and accountability of Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).

She was as determined as ever that, despite the immense challenges of what she accepts has been a particularly ‘tough year’, the prospects for health generally – and ICBs specifically – remain positive.
