Deal secures health of people in custody

Mitie has signed a £15m joint contract with police and health bosses in Greater Manchester.

The three-year contract with the Greater Manchester police and crime commissioner, Tony Lloyd, and the region’s health and social care partnership will see the local government contractor assess the health of people held in custody suites and appearing in court.
