The Government has imposed an improvement notice on Devon CC’s special educational needs and disability (SEND) services.
Whitehall published the notice after judging the council had ‘failed to make sufficient progress’ in addressing areas of weakness during a follow-up visit by Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission in July.
