Like many coastal authorities, we face the challenge of changing European legislation governing bathing water quality. Standards are getting tougher to ensure the sea is cleaner than ever before and they will need to be met by the end of the summer season 2015.
Should the beach fail to meet the new standards, signs advising against swimming may need to be displayed.
