Tackling the long-term pandemic of economic inactivity

It is close to three years since the first lockdown in England – time flies when you are working remotely!

With much of the political discussion turning to how to turn the tide of recession, we can add another long-term pandemic effect to the list: economic inactivity – individuals who are working age but are not in the employment market.
