Warnings over job cuts repercussions

Councils embarking on mass job cuts have been warned it will have grave repercussions for the senior managers of the future.

Among those resorting to redundancies to balance the books are Leeds City Council, which is to shed 750 jobs and Nottingham City Council, which has proposed cutting 550.
