What councils want

I don’t know how colleagues feel, but being told what to do and not to do in January has a tendency to make me want to dig in my toes and do what I judge best.

We all welcome locally-led solutions showing that good government, whether local or national, delivers what its customers need, is democratically close to people, businesses and communities and is consultative and responsive to place-based circumstance and need.
